This project examines historical data from online open source communities, particularly developer comments in issue discussion and resolution process, develops machine learning algorithms to identify dominant leadership practices in decentralized, virtual environments. Example questions to explore include but not limited to: 1) How is leadership demonstrated in virtual environments? 2) How is leadership measured in virtual environment? 3) How is the influence of leadership measured in virtual environment?
